I detected yesterday night that if I go to settings and click on users to add new members to the teams the database closes unexpectelly.

What can be the problem. It worked perfectelly on saturday and Sunday as I could add members to the ASdb program.
Greetings and thank you for an answer!

Hi Antonio

I will suggest that you try to repair the tables first
Use instruction from ASGER here:
http://www.dmm-support.dk/smf/index.php?topic=15.0
(see attached file about how to repair mysql tables)

Instead of repairing SDBDATA1 as pr picture, try to repair SDBREG
If you find no fault, try to repair all the other files.
On picture 2 in the instruction, You can mark several files at the same time by holding shift in, then repair

If its still not working, please send me the 3 files called sdbreg

You find them in C:\mysql\data\SDBDATA

I will then test the files on our test server

Kind Regards
Morten

Hi Antonio
Yes it looks like the fault are in this files.
I can replicate the fault using them on our test server.

I can not see the fault when looking in the tables, so I have sent them to the programmer for him to have a look.

We can always copy in an older sdbreg from backup but you will loose alle users you have created since update.
If its not very urgent, lets give the programmer 24-48 hours just to have a look at it.
I will update you as soon as we get a reply

Regards

Thank you Morten,
We will wait for good news Grin. It is good to know that you could replicate the fault!
And it was great I could send the files via Internet - the transfer speed is 1,4 KB a second!  in my "high speed CDMA modem" Smiley

Hi Antonio
Tom has found the fault.
Its actually not a fault in itself

The version of SDB that you had in Caxito was maybe a quite old version from a time where the password for each user (used in standalone mode),was not encrypted.
The latest version of SDB will encrypt the password. Obviously there is something in this version that trigger the SDB to close when passwords not ecrypted.

As I can see in the files you sent me its only with the user "Anne", that has a non encrypted password.
If you remove her password it should work. As you can not open SDB, you have to use Mysql Control Center or SQLYog
Open the table "SDBREG". find "Anne" and delete the password.

I have attached a screenshot showing the difference from an encrypted password and not.

You can contact me on skype if you have issues to use SQLyog (show me that you learned something when we where together at CICD. LOL )

Best Wishes
Morten
