Hi
Hellebæk Friskole.
We need to install more clients: ee400, with Linux LTSP.
How to do this?
Where can I download the ePXE bios and the image?

We already have two USB disks with the software, how to use them?

Hi Asger,

First of all u need an ubuntu server, or desktop operation system up running.

A; Create the flash drive with pxe boot loader image on it.

1, Format the flash drive, which is going to be cloned to the built in flash drive of the ee400 client:
If it is an LTSP server, then u open the ADMINSTRATION folder on the desktop of administrator user, and search for the program:  "disc utility"
If it is a desktop pc with ubuntu installed, u can find it under system->administration->disk utility

Format it to FAT 32 filesystem, then mark it bootable.
Make sure it says the device is called /dev/sdb1

2, Download the file called gpxe-1.0.1+-gpxe.usb, then place it on the desktop.

3, Execute the following commands in terminal:
$cd Desktop
/Desktop$ dd if=bin/gpxe-1.0.1+-gpxe.usb of=/dev/sdb1

The image is on the usb stick, ready to be cloned into the cc400 client.

B; Create a flash drive, with Ghost, to clone the pxe image into the cc400 client

C; Clone the partitions:

Use clone partition to partition option and be careful, make sure u are not cloning in the opposite directions...
